It was Chad Billingsley, not Carlos Zambrano, who looked like the dominant pitcher who had a no-hitter at the end of the season.

Carlos Zambrano is ready to pitch again. Ramirez will miss the next two games in San Francisco to deal with a personal matter in the Dominican Republic.

The latest on Carlos Zambrano is that he'll miss two starts. One more thing about Zambrano: He had White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen over for dinner. Both are from Venezuela.

The Cubs lost Wednesday night when Kosuke Fukudome was called out on strikes with a man on in the top of the ninth.
The third strike from Troy Percival sure looked high to me. It didn't even look close.

(1) Carlos Zambrano will get injured.
Ever since the Dusty Baker era in 2003, Zambrano has become a work horse by pitching over 200 innings each year. That includes his whopping total of 216.1 innings last year. To add to that, Zambrano has averaged 107.9 pitches per game since 2003. This will eventually catch up to this 26 year old. His arm is bound to give in soon, and when it does, the Cubs will not know what to do.
